AI Cloud Engineer- W2 Onsite Role

Iris's Fortune 100 direct client is looking for AI Cloud Engineer.

Position: AI Cloud Engineer

Location: Newark NJ

Note :- This is W2 onsite role

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade GenAI and agentic AI solutions, translating business requirements into scalable and production-ready applications.
• Build and enhance cloud-native microservices, APIs, and event-driven workflows using Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, and AWS services.
• Develop and implement AI agents, agentic RAG frameworks, multi-agent orchestration workflows, and conversational AI experiences.
• Integrate AI platforms with enterprise systems, data products, knowledge repositories, and external applications through secure APIs and service integrations.
• Design and manage data ingestion pipelines, vector search capabilities, embeddings, semantic retrieval, and knowledge management solutions.
• Establish and maintain AI governance standards, including guardrails, access controls, audit logging, model evaluation, and human-in-the-loop escalation processes.
• Collaborate with architects, product owners, data engineers, and platform teams to define technical solutions, delivery plans, and implementation strategies.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, optimize, and support AI applications in production, ensuring reliability, scalability, observability, security, and operational excellence.
• Lead technical delivery of assigned workstreams, conduct code reviews, mentor team members, and promote software engineering best practices.
• Drive continuous improvement in AI engineering practices, including prompt engineering, agent quality testing, model evaluation, feedback loops, and performance optimization.
