• A broad general liability caseload: premises, negligent security, products, property owner and contractor liability, and more

• Real ownership of each file from first report through resolution

• Depositions of fact witnesses, corporate representatives and experts across many different fields

• Hearings, mediations and trial, including first chair work for experienced lawyers

• Direct relationships with carriers, insureds and risk managers

The candidate

• Florida Bar membership

• 2+ years of litigation experience in general liability or insurance defense

• Curiosity: you'll learn about a new industry with almost every file

• Senior attorneys and counsel are strongly encouraged. Greater experience means more complex claims, more trial leadership, mentoring responsibilities and a clearer path to partnership

The setup

• Hybrid, with the office in Fort Lauderdale

• 1,900 billable hours a year

• $125,000 to $200,000, set deliberately wide so the offer can match a senior attorney's experience
