Influencer Marketing Intern, RIO Hydration
Location: New York City (Remote)
Commitment: 10 hours per week, beginning November 9th
About RIO
RIO is a newly launched, woman-founded hydration brand. Our sugar-free, tropics-inspired electrolyte mix is made with women in mind and has a balanced 1,015mg of electrolytes for everyday hydration and post-workout recovery. We’re a small, fast-moving DTC team building a community around wellness, movement, and strong women.
About the role
We’re looking for an Influencer Marketing Intern to help grow RIO’s creator community. You’ll get hands-on experience with influencer partnerships at a DTC brand, from first outreach through negotiation and campaign execution.
What you’ll do
- Research and build influencer lists across wellness, fitness, lifestyle, and beauty
- Reach out to creators for PR gifting and track responses and shipments
- Find and vet UGC creators for paid and organic content
- Create invite lists for RIO brand events
- Support rate negotiations and partnership communications
- Track outreach, posts, and results in our influencer tracker

- How influencer and UGC content supports paid social and brand growth
Who you are
- Passionate about social media, wellness, and creator culture
- Organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable sending lots of emails and DMs
- A clear, friendly communicator
- Self-motivated and comfortable working at a fast-paced startup
- Familiarity with Instagram and TikTok is a must. Experience with Google Sheets, Notion, or influencer platforms is a plus.
