Legal Intake and Sales Coordinator

At M&A Law Firm, the Intake Coordinator is a sales role. You will take a prospective client from first call through consultation to a signed retainer and payment, with monthly incentives for retainers signed.

About the Role

M&A Law Firm is a growing civil litigation firm, and we need a Legal Intake and Sales Coordinator who can turn qualified leads into signed clients. You will lead the free consultation yourself, making the consultation your opportunity to earn their trust and their business. You will understand the prospect’s problem, build trust, present our services, ask for the commitment, and, whenever possible, send the retainer and collect the deposit on the call. If a prospect hesitates, you follow up persistently and professionally until they decide.

What You Will Do

• Conduct consultations with prospective clients and close them on the call
• Qualify prospects, handle objections and ask for the retainer
• Send retainer agreements and collect deposits by phone
• Follow up on every unsigned or unpaid retainer following our intake protocol
• Track every lead and interaction in Lawmatics so nothing slips
• Protect the firm’s client review ratings, including with prospects who do not sign, by treating every caller with respect
• Take part in team meetings and help refine our intake process

What We Are Looking For

• A track record of closing sales, with results you can quantify, such as close rate, quota attainment or revenue
• At least two years of consultative or high-ticket sales experience, in a setting such as legal services, insurance policy sales, financial services, solar, home services or similar
• Comfort asking for the commitment and handling objections without pressure tactics
• Empathy with people facing serious, stressful problems, balanced with the drive to help them decide
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Strong attention to detail and discipline in follow-up
• CRM experience; Lawmatics is a plus
• Legal experience is a plus, but not required - we will train the right candidate

Compensation and Benefits

• $45,000 to $50,000 per year, based on experience
• Incentive structure tied to the number of retainer agreements signed each month

Schedule

This is an onsite role at our Schaumburg location, Monday through Friday, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm.
