About this opportunity

Director of New Business Sales - Enterprise SaaS

Location: United States, remote

Sector: Enterprise SaaS / ERP / Manufacturing

Package: $150,000 USD base, plus $300,000 USD on target earnings 50/50 split

About the company

Our client, CrescentOne, provides configurable ERP software designed to help organisations manage and connect critical business operations within one platform.

Its technology supports businesses looking to simplify workflows, improve productivity and maintain greater control across their operations, with a flexible architecture that can be adapted as customer requirements evolve.

The business combines established ERP technology with an experienced team across implementation, support, training and technical services, giving customers access to both the software and expertise required to maximise long-term value from their investment.

As the company enters its next phase of commercial development, it is now looking to build a more structured and repeatable approach to new customer acquisition.

The opportunity

Our client is seeking an experienced Director of New Business Sales to lead the development of its new-logo acquisition strategy and build a scalable revenue engine for future growth.

This is a strategic but highly hands-on leadership position. You will be responsible for defining the go-to-market approach, creating greater structure around prospecting and pipeline development, and personally leading complex enterprise sales opportunities.

Working closely with the executive leadership team, you will have significant influence over commercial strategy, market positioning and how the sales function develops over time.

Initially, the emphasis will be on building the foundations: creating a repeatable sales process, developing pipeline and converting new enterprise opportunities. As the function grows, you will also have the opportunity to recruit, mentor and develop a broader commercial team around you.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a clear new-logo acquisition strategy.
  • Build a repeatable sales process spanning prospecting, qualification, discovery, negotiation and close.
  • Identify and engage mid-market and enterprise manufacturing organisations.
  • Personally lead complex enterprise ERP and software opportunities.
  • Build relationships with senior and executive-level customer stakeholders.
  • Develop effective CRM processes, pipeline management disciplines and sales methodologies.
  • Work closely with executive leadership to shape commercial strategy and market positioning.
  • Introduce modern prospecting approaches, including the effective use of AI and sales technology.
  • Develop relationships with relevant partners and industry stakeholders.
  • Establish clear metrics around pipeline creation, customer engagement and sales performance.
  • Recruit and develop additional sales team members as the commercial organisation expands.
  • Deliver measurable pipeline growth and increased market engagement within the first six months.

About you

Essential

  • 5–10+ years of experience selling enterprise software, ERP or manufacturing technology solutions.
  • Strong track record of winning new business within complex B2B sales environments.
  • Experience developing new markets, building pipeline and creating sustainable revenue growth.
  • Director-level or senior commercial leadership experience while remaining comfortable working as an individual contributor.
  • Strong consultative selling capability and credibility with executive stakeholders.
  • Experience developing go-to-market strategies, CRM processes and scalable sales frameworks.
  • Ability to operate strategically while remaining close to prospecting, pipeline development and deal execution.
  • Understanding of manufacturing operations, industrial software or operational technology markets.
  • Comfortable operating within an entrepreneurial, transformation-led software environment.

Preferred

  • Experience selling ERP platforms such as QAD, Epicor, Infor, SAP, NetSuite, Acumatica or similar enterprise solutions.
  • Experience building or scaling a new-business sales function.
  • Exposure to manufacturing-focused ERP implementations and complex enterprise buying environments.
  • Interest in using AI and modern sales technology to improve prospecting, qualification and overall commercial performance.

Why apply?

This is an opportunity to take significant ownership of the commercial development of an established ERP software business.

Rather than inheriting a mature sales structure, you will have the remit to shape how new business is generated, how opportunities are managed and how the future sales organisation is built.

The role offers substantial visibility with the executive team, the opportunity to personally influence major enterprise opportunities and a clear route to build a broader sales function as the business grows.

Alongside a competitive bonus scheme, the package includes healthcare coverage including dental, a 401(k) and continued investment in professional development.
