Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Pastry Chef to prepare high-quality pastries, desserts, breads, and baked goods for restaurants, banquets, and special events. The ideal candidate will have strong baking skills, creativity, and experience managing pastry production in a hotel, resort, or high-volume kitchen.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and produce pastries, desserts, breads, and baked goods.
• Develop and test new dessert recipes and menu items.
• Ensure consistent food quality, presentation, and portion control.
• Monitor ingredient inventory, freshness, and quality.
• Maintain food safety, sanitation, and kitchen cleanliness standards.
• Train and supervise pastry kitchen staff.
• Coordinate with culinary and banquet teams for events and special occasions.
• Manage multiple orders and meet production deadlines.

Requirements

• Strong pastry, baking, and dessert preparation skills.
• Knowledge of pastry techniques, flavor combinations, and presentation.
• Experience in hotel, resort, or high-volume restaurant operations preferred.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work weekends, holidays, and flexible schedules.
• Culinary degree or pastry certification preferred; equivalent professional experience accepted.
