Are you a tax professional who enjoys solving problems, building client relationships, and helping business owners make smarter financial decisions?

Farris CPAs + Advisors is growing, and we’re looking for a full-time Client Tax Advisor to join our team for the upcoming tax season!

We’re a local CPA firm that believes tax work should be about more than filing returns. We help business owners, real estate investors, and individuals with complex financial situations navigate tax strategy and make informed decisions with confidence.

What You’ll Do

At Farris, you’ll have the opportunity to work closely with clients, collaborate with an experienced team, and develop your skills in both tax compliance and advisory services. We empower our people to HELP our clients, because that is our core purpose.

• Work with business owners and individuals in all aspects of their tax and financial picture
• Identify tax planning opportunities and help implement strategies that benefit our clients.
• Prepare federal and state tax returns individuals and businesses, including S corporations and partnerships.
• Engage with other fun and challenging projects, like help our client's structure their business acquisition and dispositions

What We’re Looking For

• One to three years of public accounting or relevant tax preparation experience.
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field
• Experience preparing individual and business tax returns, particularly Forms 1040, 1120-S, and 1065.
• Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality work.
• A client service oriented mindset - you are motivated by HELPING the client navigate what seems difficult and confusing to them
