Job Title: Real Estate Paralegal

Location: Farmingdale, NJ, On-Site

Compensation: $30.00-$33.00/hr

Employment Type: Part-Time, Temporary, 3 months with possibility of extension

Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 9:00 AM–4:00 PM

Job Summary:

Our client is seeking a Real Estate Paralegal to support legal operations, landlord/tenant matters, and regulatory compliance across a real estate portfolio. Responsibilities include maintaining legal files, tracking court dates and deadlines, coordinating with attorneys and property managers, and handling business registrations and regulatory filings. The ideal candidate will have experience in legal support, real estate law, or property management and be comfortable handling confidential information.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain legal case files, court documents, and filing deadlines.
• Coordinate landlord/tenant matters with attorneys and property managers.
• Track case updates, court proceedings, payment arrangements, and lockout scheduling.
• Prepare and maintain business entity reports, DCA registrations, and other regulatory filings.
• Organize legal documentation and maintain accurate records.
• Assist with reports, spreadsheets, scheduling, and general administrative tasks.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a paralegal, legal assistant, or in a similar legal support role preferred.
• Experience with real estate law, landlord/tenant matters, or property management is a plus.
• Familiarity with New Jersey landlord/tenant procedures and DCA registrations preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Ability to handle confidential information and manage multiple deadlines.
