IMMEDIATE OPPORTUNITY: COMMUNITY PARTNERSHIPS LIAISON

Ownership Is The Future is looking for a deeply connected community leader/connector to help us expand our youth entrepreneurship and ownership programming in:

West Harlem | Central Harlem | Kingsbridge Heights / Northwest Bronx

We are open to hiring someone with strong relationships in one or more of these communities.

This is not a traditional outreach position. We are looking for someone who already knows the community and can help us quickly build the right relationships with:

• High schools and school leaders

• Community-based and youth-serving organizations

• Faith and neighborhood organizations

• Parent and family networks

• Community leaders and trusted local connectors

Our ideal person has real relationships in the community, understands how things get done locally, makes warm introductions, follows through, and can help turn conversations into active partnerships and youth recruitment pipelines.

Part-time consultant | Approximately 6–8 hours/week

$40/hour | Initial 8-week engagement with opportunity to continue

Ownership Is The Future helps high school students develop an ownership mindset and turn their ideas into real ventures, skills and pathways for their futures. We are expanding our NYC-funded programming and want people who know these communities helping us build it the right way.
