I am partnered with a well-established practice in Ashland, Kentucky seeking a permanent Orthodontics Dentist to join their team and care for a loyal, established patient base. This is an outstanding opportunity for a doctor looking to build a rewarding long-term career while enjoying the amenities of a growing city combined with the charm and affordability.
Located along the Ohio River in northeastern Kentucky, Ashland offers a welcoming small-city atmosphere with affordable living, beautiful scenery, and a strong sense of community. Known as the “Center of the Tri-State,” Ashland is conveniently located near both West Virginia and Ohio, giving residents easy access to additional shopping, dining, entertainment, and recreational opportunities.
Position Details
- Full-time opportunity
- Schedule is flexible and typically consists of 3 clinical days per week, with time split between both locations
- Approximately 6–7 doctor days per month at each office
- Schedule rotates between Ashland and Portsmouth based on patient demand
- Non-clinical/admin days are typically Mondays and Thursdays
- Doctor will have flexibility to help determine their clinical schedule
Practice Setup
- Ashland: 8 operatories
- Portsmouth: 8 operatories
- 5 dental assistants across the practices
- 1 Treatment Coordinator
- Established support team with dedicated practice leadership
- Orthodontist will have input during the hiring process
Technology
- iTero scanners
- i-CAT CBCT in both locations
- 3D printers in both offices
- Digital orthodontic workflows
- Intraoral images available through iTero scans
- Extraoral photography available via SD card
Clinical Responsibilities
- Diagnose and treatment plan orthodontic cases
- Select appropriate treatment plans and appliances
- Prescribe Invisalign treatment
- Oversee patient care throughout treatment
- Collaborate with the existing clinical and administrative team
