About this opportunity

Save Khaki United | New York, NY

Save Khaki United is looking for a Marketing Manager to help bring our brand to life across digital channels, campaigns, and customer experiences.

Founded in New York in 2006, SKU is built around a simple philosophy: creating thoughtful, functional clothing for everyday life. We believe in timeless design, honest materials, and the beauty of things that get better with time.

We’re looking for a creative, commercially minded marketer who understands how to build a brand with a distinct point of view while driving meaningful business results. Someone who can move comfortably between strategy and execution, connecting storytelling, content, and customer engagement to grow our direct-to-consumer business.

What You’ll Do

Brand Marketing & Strategy

  • Develop and execute integrated marketing plans that strengthen brand awareness, customer engagement, and sales.
  • Translate SKU’s brand identity, product stories, and seasonal priorities into compelling marketing initiatives.
  • Build a consistent brand voice and visual presence across all customer touchpoints.
  • Identify opportunities to grow our community and connect with new audiences through thoughtful partnerships, editorial storytelling, and organic reach.

Digital Marketing & E-commerce

  • Lead day-to-day marketing initiatives across email, social media, website content, and digital campaigns.
  • Partner closely with the e-commerce team to improve traffic, conversion, customer retention, and repeat purchases.
  • Plan and execute email campaigns, including product launches, seasonal stories, new arrivals, and promotional calendars.
  • Collaborate on paid digital advertising, creative testing, audience targeting, and campaign performance.
  • Use customer insights and sales data to identify opportunities and refine marketing priorities.

Content & Creative Production

  • Develop content calendars aligned with product launches, seasonal campaigns, and business objectives.
  • Work closely with the Art Director, photographers, stylists, and creative partners to bring campaigns and product stories to life.
  • Ensure photography, copy, and creative assets are delivered on schedule and adapted for each channel.
  • Create compelling product narratives that communicate the details, materials, and everyday utility behind our collections.

Analytics & Performance

  • Monitor key marketing and e-commerce metrics, including revenue, traffic, conversion rate, email performance, customer acquisition, and retention.
  • Analyze campaign results and translate insights into actionable recommendations.
  • Maintain marketing calendars, budgets, and reporting to ensure projects are organized, measurable, and accountable.
  • Balance long-term brand building with near-term commercial priorities.

Cross-functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with e-commerce, merchandising, retail, and product teams to align marketing initiatives with inventory, launches, and sales opportunities.
  • Coordinate timelines, briefs, and deliverables to ensure campaigns move efficiently from concept to execution.
  • Bring a proactive, solutions-oriented approach to improving how marketing and e-commerce work together.

What We’re Looking For

  • 3+ years of experience in marketing, preferably within fashion, lifestyle, apparel, or consumer brands.
  • Experience managing integrated marketing programs across email, social media, digital advertising, and e-commerce.
  • Strong understanding of DTC business models, customer journeys, and the relationship between brand marketing and sales performance.
  • Excellent writing and communication skills, with a strong instinct for brand voice and storytelling.
  • Analytical thinking and comfort working with performance data to guide decisions.
  • Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a lean, fast-moving environment.
  • A hands-on mindset: equally comfortable developing a marketing plan, writing campaign copy, coordinating a photoshoot, reviewing results, and getting the details right.
  • Familiarity with Shopify, email marketing platforms, analytics tools, and digital advertising platforms.
  • An appreciation for thoughtful design, quality, authenticity, and brands that build lasting customer relationships.

The Opportunity

This is an opportunity to help shape the next chapter of an independent New York fashion brand with a distinctive point of view and a loyal community.

As SKU continues to evolve, we’re looking for someone who can bring fresh energy and structure to our marketing efforts — building stronger connections with customers, making the most of our creative content, and turning thoughtful storytelling into sustainable growth.

We value people who take ownership, work collaboratively, and believe that good marketing starts with understanding the product and the people who wear it.

We’d love to hear from you.
