Staff Accountant

Our client is expanding their team due to growth for an entry level Staff Accountant to join this well-tenured group in a very stable company. The ideal candidate will be responsible for timely and accurate preparation of accounts payabale and financial accounting data in a variety of areas. It is essential that this candidate brings analytical and organizational skills in order to best support the accounting team.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the department head to understand and ensure accuracy of all Accounts Payable and financial reporting activity
• Assist in preparation and distribution of financial statements
• Prepare financial statements and supporting schedules according to monthly close schedule

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in accounting
• 0 - 2 years' experience in accounting
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel
