Bankruptcy Paralegal

Location/Work Arrangement: Coral Gables, Florida. This position is an in-office position. 

Mid-sized Law Firm in Coral Gables, Florida is seeking an experienced, highly skilled, and detailed-oriented Bankruptcy Paralegal to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 filings and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced client-focused environment.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and file Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 bankruptcy petitions
• Assist attorneys with gathering and organizing documentation from clients
• Draft and file motions, notices, and other court documents
• Communicate with clients, trustees, and court staff
• Maintain client files and case tracking systems
• Monitor deadlines and follow up on case developments

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience as a bankruptcy paralegal (preferred)
• Proficiency in bankruptcy case preparation software
• Strong understanding of federal bankruptcy rules and procedures
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple cases with attention to detail
• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus

This is a full-time/in-person, hourly position. Hourly rate will be based on qualifications, skills, and experience.
