We are partnering with a well-established, full-service mechanical contractor delivering mechanical systems for commercial, industrial, medical and institutional clients across Virginia. The business is built on long-term relationships with general contractors, end users, subcontractors and its own people.

The company brings design, installation, service and fabrication under one roof, including in-house prefabrication. Project managers get exposure to the full lifecycle of a mechanical project, not just one slice of it.

The role

You will manage mechanical projects across the full project lifecycle, from preconstruction and award through procurement, installation, commissioning and closeout. You will own budget, scope and schedule, and act as the main point of contact for general contractors, owners and subcontractors. The role is open at Project Manager and Senior Project Manager level, with work on either commercial or industrial builds.

• Design-build projects

Candidate requirements

Project Manager

• 4+ years of project management experience in mechanical construction

Senior Project Manager

• 15+ years of experience in mechanical construction, including project management

Both levels

• Background managing commercial or industrial mechanical builds, such as HVAC systems, process piping, commercial plumbing or similar scope
• Proven track record managing budgets, schedules, subcontractors and client relationships
• Comfortable working across the full project lifecycle
