Compensation target: $140,000-$180,000 + bonus

The Company

Our client is a large, well-established professional services organization with a multi-entity, international footprint. The finance team recently went live on a new enterprise ERP and is now working to stabilize and strengthen its core accounting operations.

The Role

Controller reporting into the accounting leadership team, managing one Accounting Manager who leads a team of four. The team is relatively new, so this is not a pure oversight role. The right person will get into the details, fix the balance sheet, stabilize intercompany processes after the system transition, and bring structure to a team that is still forming.

What You'll Own

• Full month-end close, delivered on time and without surprises
• Balance sheet integrity and reconciliation review
• Intercompany accounting, settlements, and eliminations across domestic and international entities
• Consolidated financial reporting
• External audit coordination
• Post-implementation cleanup and process design in the new ERP
• Developing and stabilizing the accounting team

Profile

• 7 to 10 years of accounting experience with true close ownership
• Strong intercompany and consolidation experience (required)
• Hands-on leader willing to do the work alongside the team
• Comfortable building structure where processes are still settling
• Traditional controllers, and Assistant Controllers from mid-size organizations ready to step into more scale and complexity, are both a fit
• Public accounting foundation a plus
• Multi-currency and Tier 1 ERP experience helpful, not required
