Job Description

Mara Interior Design is seeking an organized, detail-oriented, and motivated Studio & Project Assistant to support our design team and daily studio operations.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys organization, administrative coordination, and working in a creative environment.

The ideal candidate is proactive, dependable, and comfortable managing multiple tasks while supporting the team throughout various phases of luxury residential design projects.

We are open to starting this position part-time, with the potential to grow into a full-time opportunity as studio needs evolve.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative and project support to the design team.
• Assist with organizing project schedules, documentation, and correspondence.
• Help track purchasing, orders, deliveries, and installation timelines.
• Support vendor communications, scheduling, and follow-ups.
• Maintain organized project files, specifications, and meeting notes.
• Assist with preparing documents, coordinating appointments, and general studio tasks.
• Help maintain an organized and efficient studio environment.
  

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of administrative, project support, or related experience preferred.
• Experience in interior design, residential construction, or a creative studio environment is a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Dropbox.
• Familiarity with Studio Designer or similar purchasing software preferred.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and follow through on assigned responsibilities.
• Interest in learning new technologies, including AI tools that improve efficiency.
• Professional, dependable, and eager to learn.
