Chicago, IL (downtown) | Hybrid, 4 days in office | $140,000 to $170,000 + bonus

Our client is a large, fast-growing financial services company with a global footprint. Finance sits close to the top, and leadership leans on it for the big calls.

This is not a typical FP&A seat. You are the in-house strategy resource for the CFO and executive team. When leadership has a big question on growth, capital, an investment, or cost, you get the question. Then you scope the work, build the model, and turn it into a Board-ready story. Your work goes to the CFO, then to the executive team and Board.

What you'll own

• High-priority questions from the executive team and Board, often on tight timelines with little direction
• Models built from a blank page: scenarios, sensitivities, investment cases, capital trade-offs, cost structure
• The long-range plan model, with a full refresh each year and scenario work all year
• Outside market data (S&P Global and similar) for benchmarks, industry context, and market sizing
• Inputs from the revenue and expense FP&A teams, pulled into company-wide scenarios
• Executive-ready PowerPoint that leads with the answer and drives to a decision
• CFO briefing materials that flag risks and likely questions
• Support on finance-wide projects, such as policy work

What you bring

• Bachelor's in finance, economics, accounting, or a related field
• 5 to 8 years in strategy consulting, investment banking, strategic finance, or corporate FP&A
• Strong modeling skills; you build from scratch
• Excellent PowerPoint and storytelling for senior audiences
• Comfort owning open-ended asks on your own and taking a point of view
• Experience blending outside market data with internal numbers

Nice to have

• MBA from a top program
• Insurance, financial services, or another complex multi-entity business
• Public company reporting or non-GAAP metrics
• Power BI or Tableau

• $140,000 to $170,000 base plus annual bonus
