Field Service Engineer / Service Technician
Location: Elgin, Illinois / Remote with Travel
Salary: $75,000–$90,000 + Bonus

Are you an experienced Field Service Engineer with strong mechanical, electrical and hydraulic troubleshooting skills?
Responsibilities:
- Install and commission new machinery
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and controls faults
- Complete preventative maintenance and equipment repairs
- Support machine assembly and retrofit projects
- Read electrical and hydraulic schematics
- Train customers on machine operation and troubleshooting
- Complete service reports, expense records and warranty documentation
- Travel to customer sites approximately 40–75% of the time
Requirements:
- Field service or industrial equipment maintenance experience
- Strong mechanical, electrical and hydraulic knowledge
- Experience troubleshooting PLC or PC-based control systems
- Working knowledge of servo-hydraulic systems
- Ability to read electrical and hydraulic schematics
- Experience with injection molding or processing machinery is advantageous
- Valid passport and willingness to travel throughout the US and occasionally internationally
