Hiring: Forward Deployed Engineer – Data Engineering & GenAI
📍 Washington, DC Metro Area
🏢 Hybrid – 2–3 days/week onsite/customer locations

We’re looking for a hands-on Forward Deployed Engineer who can work directly with customers, understand complex/ambiguous technical problems, and build and deploy production-ready solutions.
This is an engineering-heavy role focused approximately 70% on Software/Data Engineering and 30% on Agentic AI.
🔑 What We’re Looking For
Software & Data Engineering
- Strong Python development
- ETL/ELT and data pipelines
- Data modeling & schema mapping
- REST APIs & API integrations
- Backend services and integrations
- Production-quality software development
GenAI & Agentic AI
- Hands-on LLM / Generative AI application development
- RAG and enterprise data integration
- AI agents / agentic workflows
- Tool/function calling
- LangChain, LangGraph, LlamaIndex or similar
- AI workflow automation
- Production deployment of AI applications
Customer-Facing Engineering
- Experience working directly with customers and senior stakeholders
- Ability to take ambiguous requirements and turn them into working solutions
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
- Comfortable moving between customer discussions, architecture, coding, data pipelines and production deployment
⭐ Nice to Have
AWS / Azure / GCP | Databricks | Snowflake | Spark | Kafka | Airflow | dbt | Vector Databases | Embeddings | Docker/Kubernetes | Federal/Defense/Intelligence experience

Understand the customer problem → Design the solution → Build the APIs/data pipelines → Develop the GenAI/Agentic workflow → Deploy it into production.
