Job Description
Sitework Engineer
Providing Sitework engineering services and field support, preparation of designs and calculations, conducting site walk downs, developing cost estimates and material take-offs, maintain a safe work environment for yourself while also considering safety in the designs they are involved with.
Efficiently transition between multiple projects and applying technical writing and Office suite skills daily.
Skillsets and expertise required for this position include knowledge of environmental regulations such as ADEM and MDEQ.
Ability to perform earth work calculations and construction material take-offs, and cost estimates.
Ability to coordinate with others in the production design documents.
Ability to provide oversight for permitting requirements (municipal, ALDOT, environmental, etc...) where necessary.
Extensive knowledge or certification of erosion and sediment control measures.
Perform hydrology calculations, balance a site and knowledge of retention pond design
Proficient using AutoCAD Civil 3D for Civil Sitework Design, previous Sitework construction experience required.
Ex: Grading work must display good technical writing skills, Office suite proficiency, and the ability to build effective relationships with Grading Construction.
Design engineering team and customers.
Work schedule or working hours: This position will be remote, but the candidate must live a minimum of 1 hour from the office in Birmingham, AL.
Approximately 2 weeks of onboarding and learning the team and processes will be done in the office before transitioning to remote work. Required travel for this position is 25% of the time.
Job Requirements:
Required PPE: Hardhat Safety Glasses Safety Vest.
This position required travel 25% of the time.
The Sitework Engineer 3 position requires 7-10 years of related experience with site work/grading design.

An accredited bachelors degree in civil engineering.
Compensation Package:
Salary Proposal
US$ 50,00 Per hour.
