Executive Director
Visionary Leadership & Strategic Planning.
Provide strategic direction, refining and executing CPLC's strategic plan to align with its mission and goals.
Lead the organization's transition toward full independence as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, ensuring financial and operational sustainability.
Foster a culture of collaboration, transparency, and accountability within the organization.
Fundraising & Organizational Growth.
Develop and implement a comprehensive fundraising strategy, securing diverse funding streams from foundations, corporations, public grants, and individual donors.
Set and achieve annual revenue growth targets of 10-20% to ensure financial health and program expansion.
Cultivate relationships with key stakeholders to strengthen CPLC's visibility and impact.
Community Engagement & Advocacy.
Serve as the primary public voice of CPLC, representing the organization in local, regional, and national forums.
Build and strengthen relationships with community members, policymakers, partner organizations, and environmental justice networks.
Lead advocacy efforts to promote policies that address air and water pollution, climate change, and equitable access to green space.
Program Development & Impact.
Oversee the design, implementation, and evaluation of programs that advance environmental justice, ensuring measurable impact.
Maintain and expand partnerships with community-based organizations, government agencies, and academic institutions.
Promote a data-driven approach to program evaluation and continuous improvement.
Operations, Financial Management & Governance.
Ensure the organization operates with strong financial stewardship, overseeing budgets, financial planning, and reporting.
Recruit, hire, and manage staff, fostering an inclusive and supportive workplace culture.
Work closely with the Board of Directors, engaging them in strategic decision-making, fundraising, and governance.
