Finance Manager
Execute monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes.
Maintain Product Costs in Oracle.
OPM management (Copy costs, close WIP batches, run pre-processor, create accounting, and open Orgs).
Update Source Org Rollup in OPM.
Check for Inventory Mfg. Errors.
Inventory management.
Support the Site MRB Review process.
Perform Inventory write-offs & reserves analysis and highlight potential risks.
Perform quarterly 3rd party WHSE visits, inventory count audits, and monitor WHSE cycle counts.
Material disposals/destructions periodic controls verification.
Manufacturing overhead and absorption tracking and monthly closing.
Manufacturing variance analysis.
WIP analysis.
PPV analysis.
Headcount and Department Expense Tracking/Reporting.
Coordinate and record spending accruals for MRO, services, and utilities.
Participate in Business Unit meetings and Tiers, prepare financial results package and cost data for discussion.
Work with business leaders to establish reporting and provide analysis to assist operations in achieving performance goals.
Fixed Assets & Capital reporting (CIP review, fixed asset reporting, depreciation calculations).
Fixed Assets reporting (CIP, Spending, Capitalizations, Project Closings).
CIP Reviews.
Depreciation calculation & tracking.
Annual Idle Fixed Assets Review.
Payroll to GL review/reconciliation.
Balance Sheet Account Reconciliations.
Budget/Projections: Responsible for select departments.
Assist with internal and external audits, as needed.
Represent Finance in the site’s forums/meetings and share financial results.
Assist and support Operational Excellence and other areas with financial impact calculations.
Maintain internal control procedures and ensure compliance with SOX.
Other Responsibilities:
Act as the back-up for the Finance Associate Director, as required.
Perform ad hoc analysis, as needed.
Participate in special projects and support other team members, as needed.
Maintain regular contact with site department managers, including senior leaders, to discuss financial results, headcount requirements, budget, and projections.
Daily interaction with Finance team and internal client groups for alignment with objectives.
Frequent interaction with GPS Finance team at headquarters for financial reporting and budget alignment.
Frequent interaction with Operations Business Owners for SOX internal controls and spending monitoring.
Occasional interaction with Internal and External Auditors for compliance and reporting.
Occasional interaction with employees from other manufacturing sites for regulatory alignment.
Limited contact with external customers, governmental officials, inspectors, vendors, and suppliers.
