Job Description
Production Assistant
Basic bench work, including cleaning castings, polishing, and assembly.
Assist Studio Assistant with inspecting diamonds and gemstones.
General clerical support.
Larger production support projects.
Work 3-4 days a week.
Job type: Part-time✔
Job Requirements:
High school diploma AND 1+ years of production bench experience and/or jewelry-making training or equivalent experience.
Skilled in all basic aspects of production including:
Cleaning castings.
Polishing.
Soldering/Assembling.
Pearl glue.
Black rhodium application.
Strong attention to detail, organization, time management, and communication skills.
Reliable, punctual, and able to meet deadlines with exemplary self-management.
Good eyesight, memory, and dexterity for hands-on work.
Professional attitude and demeanor.
Strong team player and eager to learn.
Friendly with strong English communication skills.
Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
Interest in and appreciation of SKJ products.
Interest or experience in mass production.
GIA certification and/or gemstone knowledge (a plus).
